I got this car October 2nd, 2009 from the 2nd owner with 105,000 kms. The previous owner bought it in 2007 and drove it for only 5,000 kms until it was stored.

NEW HKS EXHAUST:
Some interior snaps:
Well I finished my engine bay detail.. took about 4 days total.
I used WD-40 and a paintbrush and 4 microfiber towels.
Works amazing on 20 year old buildup of dirt and rustproofing. No joke.
Car had been sitting for 10+ years.. Buildup of rustproofing and dust on it takes its toll.
BEFORE
AFTER
The car is now sitting on some old skool 15x7 CSA Polaris rims with 195/50 Nokian WR32 all weather tires.
Upcoming will be some coilovers as the 20 year old shocks need replacing !!
Current kilometers the car has is 115,000 kms as of December 25 2010.
New pics coming in spring.
Here's some rare accessories & Parts I managed to find for it recently:
Barely used OEM car cover:
BNIB OEM civic hatch brown mats:
BNIB optional civic console pocket.
Neuspeed front strut bar:
BNIB OEM civic center tail light lense (original was scratched a bit)
The results in your engine bay are impressive !!
May I hire you to do mine ? :]
But seriously ... I'm wondering if you really used only a paintbrush and four towels.
I mean the screws, the bolts, the engine mounts, the radiator : these look like brand new ! (rusty --> grey or black ... what the hell ?!?).

No I dont have new pics but this is my old 1990 civic with the same rims..
I sold this car because the civic I have now is in better condition and lower km !

No repainting job, no new fournitures ? Sure ?
Yes I changed some parts and nuts and bolts and painted some brackets.
I also changed battery, plug wires radiator and repainted valve cover.
Anyway thanks to you orignal post (on Honda-tech I think) I clean my engine bay with WD40 and it works perfectly !
How did you get this idea ?
I try so many (expensive) products to clean it, and finaly just une bottle of WD40 and my engine bay looks brand new !
