voila la question me trote dans la tete
je voudrai faire un swap dans ma 323
actuellment le moteur est un 1L5 16 de 90ch autant dire que c'est pas le top
ca marche bien mais il ne faut pas ete trop exigeant
les moteurs potentiels :

2L de la mazda 626
V6 2L de la mx6 ou xedos ou mazda 323 v6
V6 1L8 de la mx3
V6 2L5 de la mx6

donc vous en pensez quoi??

perso j'ai une 323 astina V6 qui traine danns mon garage et je peux te dire que le moteur est vraiment un régal quand je l'ai ramenr d'allemagne ca marche du feu de dieu

on peut y faire quoi pour l'aider a donner toute sa puisance?

va jetter un oeil sur mx6.com ou un truc comme ça en français ( http://www.mazda-mx6.com ), ils montrent comment préparer un block de mx6 je crois que c'est le 2.0LV6 ou 2.5V6 mais je suis pas sur... c'est peut-être un 2.0 16S...

japastina, au vu de la disposition moteur je pense que tu change la ligne et tu decata et le moteur respirera deja mieux car j'ai mesurer le collecteur les tubes ont la meme taille que sur ma 323F. Apres je pense que en bricolant un peu tu dois pouvoir te crée un CAI et la je pense que le V6 marchera beaucoup mieux

Juste une petite question car je ne connais pas du tout ce modele: et ce que tous les moteurs (ceux que tu as mentionne) peuvent au moins rentrer dans ton compartiment moteur ?? (au point de vue de la place)
D apres ce qu on m a dit les V6 marche pas trop mal: essaye avant une voiture le possedant . Si tu l as peut etre deja fait, qu est ce que tu en penses ?

normalement le V6 de l'astina passe sans prob c'est la meme caisse maintenant c'est clair que les autres il faut se poser la question je pense. En plus faut que tu regarde quel type de route tu fais car si tu fais beaucoupde ville le V6 va être un gouffre en essence il me semble qu'il fait dans les 14l

je crois que la conso il s'en fou c'est une voiture pour le show le fun, il a son delsol pour rouler sans consommer... sinon je suis retourné voir sur mazda-mx6.com et il ya plein d'infos sur la prépa du V6... y'a visiblement moyen de froler les 200cv...

y'a des limites (pas plus de 18 litres )
pour le V6 200cv ce serait pas mal
maintenant faut trouver le moteur!!!

le V6 j'en ai essayé deux le 2L dans une MX6 le 1L8 dans une MX3
la MX6 semble lourde mais coupleuse
le mx3 nerveux mais manque en bas regime

t'as réfléchi aux problèmes de boîte plus longue, transmission/freins/embrayage plus costauds pour que ça survive au swap d'un bourin plus puissant? t'as 4 disques sur ton astina? y'a le problème des suspension aussi car tu va mettre au moins 100kg de plus sur l'avant non?

le problème cé ka l'arrière cé des tambours sur la 1.5 donc il faut modifier!

faut prendre tout le train avant et arriere de toute facon, ne serais ce que pour l'abs ...

tout ca c chouette, mais c tjr compliqué, cher, pas forcement parfait et pas forcement homologué

pour le train arriere j'en ai un qui traine de mazda 626 avec des disques
pour l'avant je prendrait celui de la voiture qui me donnera le moteur

pour le poids supplementaire a l'avant je mettrai soit les amortisseurs de la voiture greffe soit les miens avec les ressorts de l'autre
ou alors j'en ferai faire sur mesure
quand il y aura plus que ca!!

moteur 1L8 de mx3 = meme fixation que mon 1L5
moteur 1L8 de mx3 = meme fixation que le 2L5 de la mx6 (apparemment)

donc je peux (pourrait) mettre le 2L5 dans mon astina

Steel Vacuum tubing on rear head

I noticed that 5/8" steel tubing the last time I removed the intake manifold. It connects the rear valve cover to the intake pipe and front valve cover but in my KL version the last end of the pipe is blocked. So I removed it and used a flexible hose. There was also twin small vacuum pipes which one was unused so again flex pipe solved this!

For racing purposes I had the luck of finding decent Toyo RA-1s in size 205/50/15. For those who do not know these tires, lets simply say the treadware rating is 30. I mounted the tires on American Racing's Estrella in 15x7". Weight of the wheel/tire combo: 35lbs. Weight of my 16" ATP's and Toyo T1+: 44 pounds which is already a bit less than the average wheel. Weight reduction is there but most importantly, reduction of unsprung weight and inertia is a big factor.

Some folks might find this one funny. I relocated the water bottle where the battery was originally sitting. OK no big gain here but what the heck? It's 2.5lbs shifted from the nose to behind the front axle...

Never thought the OEM seats were that heavy! 33lbs each. I replaced the drivers seat with a lightweight (14lbs without brackets) Momo "Start" fiberglass seat. Seat mount and sliders were modified to fit the Momo seat.

OEM stamped steel rad support was swapped in favor of SRD's Carbon fiber support. As a bonus, gives a 10hp boost when you open your hood to strangers!
