Hello, here is my Canadian 1991 Civic Si.

I got this car October 2nd, 2009 from the 2nd owner with 105,000 kms. The previous owner bought it in 2007 and drove it for only 5,000 kms until it was stored.

Well I finished my engine bay detail.. took about 4 days total.

I used WD-40 and a paintbrush and 4 microfiber towels.
Works amazing on 20 year old buildup of dirt and rustproofing. No joke. Wink
Car had been sitting for 10+ years.. Buildup of rustproofing and dust on it takes its toll.

The car is now sitting on some old skool 15x7 CSA Polaris rims with 195/50 Nokian WR32 all weather tires.
Upcoming will be some coilovers as the 20 year old shocks need replacing !!
Current kilometers the car has is 115,000 kms as of December 25 2010.
New pics coming in spring. Smile

The results in your engine bay are impressive !! Shock
May I hire you to do mine ? :]

But seriously ... I'm wondering if you really used only a paintbrush and four towels.
I mean the screws, the bolts, the engine mounts, the radiator : these look like brand new ! (rusty --> grey or black ... what the hell ?!?).

No repainting job, no new fournitures ? Sure ? Wink

No. I like the look and feel of my 320mm Momo montecarlo. Cool
Look's like we still are in 90's. Any person who sees your car must be like that : =O wtf ? I fkn used a Delorean and passed 88mph without seeing it ?

Anyway, I have a noob/french question. Does any canadian car have a special oil system for "big cold temperatures" ?

Keep your cool, you seem to be a real Honda freak.

Sometimes.. depends where in Canada you live. Some places are verrrrrry cold. 0w40 synthetic is good oil for -30C.
Okay. I guess Toronto is not so cold Smile I forgot to say the rims looks fine on that car Wink
