i have a red '93 GT-R with this chassis number BG83J-200649022 .
I saw that the "normal" GT-R chassis number is BG8Z....what's the difference?
I saw also few of yours having the prodcution number of his GT-R...How can i know mine?

I'm doing a research of how many GT-R was imported in any Country in the world and also if possible the chassis number of each car still in order and running....If you can help meplease post here some infos.

yes i know a lot of things about the GT-R but never know waht's the difference between BG8Z and BG83J.
I live at 40 kms from the house of Alessandro Fassina the '93 WRC Group N with a GT-R.
I also own the GT-R Group A and N FIA fiches of omologations.
my GT-R is a not MOD car and 168.000 kms of life.
In Italy only 181 was imported...few of them are GT-RAe

In fact 2500 GT-R was producted. I have TWO GT-R aud the chassis number is BG83J. The tzpe BG8Z is the number for all the piece of a GT-R, it-s like an abrevation.
In FRANCE 200 GT-R was imported and numeroted but it's possible that your GT-R wasn't numeroted as in GERMANY. In BELGIUM there was only 50 GT-R.

But i still have a longer number from others.
200649022 i saw other people give me very lower numebr like 304xxx
what's the difference.
I know that isn't the best to give our chssis number, but i'm doing this research just to know where the car was sold and trying to make a database of GT-R.

The chassis number for a Mazda familia (323) GTR always start with BG83J***
this how she calls herself if you prefer.
The factory car name is BG8Z, this is how mazda call her
this name covers the GTR and the GTX from 91 to 94, the number which follows determinate if its a GTR or a GTX (to 300000 its a GTR, from 3000001 its a GTX)
The pet name of the car is Familia (or 323), this how the maz shops call it
Titine is how I call her... but we dont care!
however, i dont know how to find out the production number of the cars...
as i can remenber, some one told me a long time ago... but im not sure.
i dont think japanese models got one, maybe its just for export...

Il y a qq années j'avais rencontré un type à magny cours qui avait travaillé sur l'homogation des mazdas gtr...
Il en fallait 2000 pour le monde entier cause homologation groupe a
( ndlr certaines sources 2500)
Il y en a eu 200 en france ( plus de 1000 demandes!) les numéros de chassis n'ont rien à voir avec les numéros "serie limitée n°", les autocollants étaient collés au fur et à mesure qu'arrivait les voitures dans l'ordre de descente du camion...( 5 en all, 3 en france, 2 italie, 4 gb...) mais il va de soit que le numero 4/5 est bien plus vieux que la 198.
les 200 ne sont pas arrivées le même jour en france! on livrait tous les pays en même temps.
( en gros pour moi la numéro 100 doit être en gros la 1000/1200 ème a voir été produite)

( une des dernières là bas probablement, c'est une année modèle 95)
