C'est un 3SGTE evo 2 (i-VTEC) qui sort environ 134cv à 7800tr/min et 14.8 mkg à 9700 le turbo est à géométrie invariable fabriqué par Daewoo.

This assists driver's with a lower leg strength to achieve maximum braking effect in hard braking and emergency situations. The suspension has been retuned with revised spring and damper rates, while the front and rear anti-roll bars have increased in diameter. The body dimensions have been reduced slightly, while chassis and body stiffness has been improved courtesy of a strengthened scuttle panel and reinforced rear pillars. The 200SX now has front and rear strut braces as well as two further braces under the transmission bell housing and the rear body. C'est le meme bloc que la s14a, avec des injecteur plus gros, un turbo plus solide, un echangeur plus gros, et une cartographie un peu meilleur. Niveau transmission, une boite 6 moins solide, mais un vrai autobloquand a la place du visco coupleur dans le pont arriere.
