Rest de l'ECU fait comme suit
On the forums the question of ECU resets comes up quite frequently. The ECU in the Coupe has the ability to 'learn' the driving style of its owner and with program itself to adjust the timing and supply the appropriate amount of fuel accordingly.
A regular reset can help to maintain good mpg levels, and it is also important to reset the ECU after installing mods, particularly an air-intake. A reset will allow the Coupe to understand that the workings of the engine have changed slightly.
To perform a reset -
Disconnect the live battery terminal
Press the brake pedal or turn the key to discharge any remaining charge (this is so the ECU has no power left to 'remember' the previous settings)
Reconnect the battery
Go for a drive
When you go for a drive, drive in your normal fashion, the ECU will set itself it relation to this. Obviously 'enthusiastic' driving will give you slightly better performance and slightly lower mpg, whereas 'sunday driver' would be the opposite.
